Well basically being an EFI system your problem could be many things, Is it running the original Engine management system or an aftermarket or Delco setup? If it is the standard system you could possibly have a problem with your AFM, But without actually checking the car out there isnt much diagnosi...

The DOHC does not use a Crank Angle Sensor.
Nor does the Delco system.
What exactly did you want to know about them, and no there not a universal part. For instance on a commodore (3.8) the CAS is mounted under the harmonic balancer, In most jap cars they are mounted in the dizzy.

The correct Hitachi DOHC cam starter is quite easily sourced from any reputable auto elec. I know we have at least 10 reco's on the shelf. The only problem I can see with using SOHC starter is the fact that they are on the inlet side of the SOHC, The twin-cam has the starter on the exhaust side, Now...

Radiator to suit DOHC into Gemini

Just a quick one, If you are after a easy swap radiator to suit your twin-cam then the Torana LC-LJ bolt straight in other than you need to elongate the bottom hole a little bit, Which is more than adequate to suit most standard to mild setups. The main advantage of using these radiators is the fact...

All my G200W blocks have the exact same alternator bracket as the single-cam.
Cant remember what alternator they have standard current rating wise, Though for any injected DOHC the Bosch internal regulator set up would be practical.
